A Light welterweight British boxer, Connor Benn, has shown the horrific injuries he suffered after beating his French opponent Cedrick Paynaud on Wednesday night


 
The 21-year-old boxer, who is the son of former middleweight and super middleweight world champion boxer Nigel Benn, suffered a difficult fight last night. He got knocked down twice to the canvas in the opening round of the fight, but recovered to emerge victorious at the York Hall
Benn, whose left eye was cut and his right eye badly swollen by the end, won the fight by 57-54.

On Wednesday afternoon, he showed off the horrific facial injuries suffered in a post on Twitter and Wrote: ‘
This sport is tougher than I thought. Bloody hell. Love to my supporters! See you next year!’
