LAI MOHAMMED DENIES FG MOVE TO BANNING MOVIE AND MUSIC VIDEOS PRODUCTION ABROAD

Nigeria minister of information Lai Mohammed has revised his statement that FG will ban the production of movie and music videos abroad


The Minister said, “I didn’t say that, henceforth, all music and films would or must be produced in Nigeria. All i said was that is a programme is designated as a Nigerian content programme, we will amen the code to ensure that it is produced in Nigeria. I didn’t say I will ban the production of Nigerian movies and videos overseas”

Recall that a report had credited the minister proposing to ban the production of movies and music videos abroad which was greeted with wide condemnations from Nigerians especially the entertainment industry with stars like psquare and Ruggedman vocal about it
