FEW THINGS A ROBOT DOES

A ROBOT is a mechanical device that sometimes resembles a human and is capable of performing a variety of complex human tasks on command or by being programmed in advance.

* CLEANING - a good example is a robotic vacuum, robotic vacuum cleaner is a disk-shaped, small but powerful automatic vacuum cleaner fitted with sensors. It can be programmed to vacuum clean your floors and rugs when you are busy doing something else.

* HELP MATE - the advantage of the use of robot in the home is the robot’s ability to help the handicapped maneuver and serve as companions for the elderly. Disabled people have been using dogs and monkeys for years to help them with the household tasks they are unable to take of.

*ADVANCE INTELLIGENCE - Digital or hybrid minds will be far more robust and specialized than those of humans.Our intrinsic cognitive skill-sets were forged — and constrained — by the demands of evolution, but a robotic brain could be designed to excel at any number of arbitrary tasks. Robots will be able to calculate better and faster than humans, have superior pattern recognition skills, unlimited attention spans, and infallible memory.

* DUTY DURING ADVERSE HOURS
Most of the production units are required to function twenty-four hours, during day or night, on holidays, without any break so as to ensure increased production which is commensurate with the capacity of the machinery. Thus, human laborers who do not feel very comfortable working such odd hours can be employed accordingly. However, robots can be beneficially utilized whenever necessary.

* SAFETY
Robots save workers from performing dangerous tasks.
They can work in hazardous conditions, such as poor lighting, toxic . They are capable of lifting heavy loads Robots increase worker safety by preventing accidents since humans are not performing risky jobs.
