Few things you should do as a guy on your first date

1. Don't go to the cinema. No movies. The point of a first date is to get to know the each other.You can’t do this while you’re both staring at a movie screen. Try a cosy environment where you both can communicate well.

2. Keep it simple. You’re not proposing to her, so there’s no need to go overboard on the first date. Keep the first date light, fun, and romantic. You can’t go wrong with dinner and an evening at an art museum. Both activities allow you ample opportunities to talk and get to know each other.

3. Be yourself. Trying to be what you are not to impress her on the first date might affect the relationship as time goes on. She is to love you for who you are not what she want you to. Remember your real self cannot not be hidden for long.

4. Take up the bills Even if she offers, insist on paying for the date — especially if you initiated the date in the first place. As a couple, you’ll figure out how to split and cover bills later. But for now, pick up the check.

 5. Be gentle and caring, she’s an independent woman. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t open the door for her. Above all be your self, don't act what you are not just to impress her

 6. Listen to her. You can’t just ask a bunch of questions, and then not listen to the answers. If you emailed or talked on the phone beforehand, remember what she told you about herself. Spice up your conversation by also listening to her views too, most ladies loves a guy with listening ears.

 7. Use compliments appropriately. She likely put some effort into her look for you, so offer her a compliment or two. Avoid a never-ending list of praise, it can get overwhelming or comments that sound too sexual. “Beautiful” is better than “Hot’.” Use words like,thank you,may I.
